  1. Well, in fairness, they haven't had the #1 class in what now, 2 years? Prior to UGA it was a historically improbable run. Almost like they had some sort of unfair (illegal) advantage.
  2. Tell'em you're entering the portal.
  3. Don't feel bad. He's a master baiter.
  4. FSU feels he's pretty locked in. He was planning on going to the BB game Sunday night after his FSU visit with whole family and while leaving FSU the above mentioned reporter exchange happened and he said he wasn't visiting AU. Sometimes you hear what you want to hear but it sounds like he's committed to FSU. https://247sports.com/college/florida-state/article/florida-state-seminoles-football-kj-bolden-official-visit-recap-223328355/ (if it isn't cool to link the free article, please feel free to remove it) or delete post
  5. Those days are over. I'm not saying Williams won't sign with them, but it's the wild west now and everybody can sling cash around, not just $puat.
  6. Sorry, I can't find a turd emoji on the board.
  7. As I recall, it was a box of steaks, Ramsey was saying his kids were going hungry....complete setup job. But back to transfers and recruiting, now that everyone, and not just $puat and UGA can pay players, all the highly rated players warming bench at the top programs can not only line their wallets but also showcase their skills at more needy schools.
  8. Said the 10 Nebraska football fans that are on the internet.
  9. I'm pretty sure they're just kids very high on the board we are pushing for.

    He likes turtles.
  11. If I were basing it just off that statement I would say because he is an idiot, but fact is, he pocketed 17 million dollars by not recruiting. At that point he's just a shyster.
  12. The problem with that are: Was the QB under duress? If so he gets a bit of a pass and the failure falls on the OL. Was the WR running the correct route? If he wasn't, the QB gets a bit of a pass since the WR wasn't where he was supposed to be. These are things only the players and coaches know. What we know is when the ball hits the WR stone cold in the hands and they drop it or when the pass is uncatchable because it was a bad throw.
  13. I can't give you stats but it was that bad. Maybe better than last year and the one prior which were historically awful, but it was still bad, and oddly enough, against some of the worse teams. Cal and NMST come to mind.

Point of order, in the future, please refer to the football institute in reference as the Turds, $puat, Houndtoothed Hicks, or some other derogatory name, as is more befitting their history.
  15. Unfortunately we're still in a position where we have to take the best available players for our needs whether that's before spring or after. Hopefully next year we can be a little more selective.
  16. If whoever wrote this tweet meant while he was at AU, they have no credibility. Nix was constantly running for his life while at AU.
  17. Thanks, I wasn't thinking of multiple QBs per season (trying to forget it maybe).
  18. Can you help explain this for the statistically impaired? I'm sure I'm misunderstanding how these numbers are compiled but it looks like different results for the same thing. As a team, the 2023 Auburn Tigers reached a 140 rating during 5 of 12 games (41.7 percent) Payton Thorne reached a 140 rating during eight of his twelve starts (66.7 percent)
  19. War eagle friend, honestly we probably aren't that far apart on opinion. I'm just saying give Thorne a year in the system, better OL and WRs, the coaches game planning a LOT better than this year and he should play at a higher level...like a decent SEC QB. He isn't going to be Joe Burrows 2.0 but hopefully able to get us a few more wins than this year. We are rebuilding and if you look at places like FSU and UT it takes a couple of years. Conversely, if a rock star transfer would come in, then of course you bring him in but our needs are great across the board and the funds have to be used judiciously.
  20. No, I've never said he played great. Even in our wins it was more about how bad the teams we played were than how well we played. The whole team from coaches to 90% of the players are a work in progress but you keep doing you.
