  1. If I remember correctly, I think he had foot surgery in the spring and the recovery has just been a little slower than expected.
  2. Just looking at some of the special teams info, I think you'll need to add Jeremiah Cobb to the returners lists. Kid is special
  3. If this is coming back we better get @augolf1716 favorite emoji, known by most as the dancing cucumber
  4. I just listened to the Auburn Live call in show and his grandmom called in and spoke about his recruitment. Couple of points: 1. I excited to have they're family as part of the Auburn family! Grandma Riddick has a fire in her that I absolutely love! 2. We have a dang good coaching staff! She said that Demarcus really appreciated that our staff was there for him, to better him, and they were intentional in building the relationship. 3. Demarcus is going to show out at Auburn! Kid is all of a 5 star and still has areas to improve.
  5. The last Northwestern transfer turned out to be pretty dang reliable 😏
  6. I could see A&M offering it because this year is win or get out for Jimbo. Not too many schools looking to hire a coach that tanked 2 programs back to back.
  7. That's how you know they're worried. It's like clockwork and has been my whole life. Auburn succeeds and all the sudden cheating accusations come from no where lol. Don't forget, Cam Newton was a non-issue until Auburn won and became THE threat. Auburn basketball was a non-issue until we won the SEC. It's every time and it's tired. Their biggest issue is they can't threaten a family's livelihood to force their teenage son to do their bidding now that we have an established NIL collective. Make no mistake, the REC has threatened many jobs in order to secure recruits from the state of Alabama. Can't do it anymore because their son is earning enough to cover the loss PLUS some. I've tried to be nice over the years when it comes to recruiting, but I've seen nasty, illegal stuff from other schools in the SEC and out. They've lost the sole advantage they got away with for literal decades and now they're ass chapped about it. Players at Alabama have had paperwork submitted to the NCAA showing them driving $60000 vehicles registered in the name of listed athletic boosters and nothing was done. I almost hope we offered him $1.5 million just to piss off Saban and Alabama fans.
  8. I think it's a lot easier for people around the family to understand. When you actually care about someone as a person and not just as an athlete you tend to want what's best for them, even if that might not line up with what you want them to do. At least I hope that's what's going on. But in the case of Alabama, I'd settle for shock and defeat 😋
  9. I usually like to watch some film on our recruits after they commit. Everyone keeps talking about his athleticism, so I'm excited to see what everyone else sees!
  10. As is to be expected, twitter comments from Bammers are a crap show right now. They keep saying "money" like it's not legal now lol They can't understand that Perry wants to make his own name and has the chance to be the best receiver in Auburn history. That's one heck of a legacy to leave if he does it!
  11. Didn't he pull his hamstring in a Baylor game at the 50 and still scored somehow? 😂
  12. Safe to say the potential Perry at 5 won't be live anywhere other than his instagram?
  13. This is finally exciting again. It feels like those early 2010s Big Cat weekends where big names were popping left and right!
  14. Almost guaranteed considering she feels comfortable in a lawsuit for an accident in a vehicle she chose to be in. Please correct me if I'm wrong, which is very possible, but that seems like there's more to it than a tragic accident.
  15. Especially with the former athletic assistant that was in the car for the horrible crash suing the university directly.
  16. The tailgate was actually established in like 1988, a year before I was born, and has been going strong since what started as a family tailgate was beyond welcoming and has grown to a bunch of people that just genuinely enjoy each other's company and enjoy welcoming new friends. That said, it's a group contribution effort on most things so it doesn't really break the bank for anyone. Most usually bring a cooler with enough for themselves and the ability to share a bit because you might be excited about a new option! The food is almost always a group effort, and when it's not, people happily donate to whoever is picking up the steaks or crawfish. Even in those instances people will still bring sides and desserts to add on to. All that said, we have been beyond fortunate that we still have the spot and it hasn't been covered in white tents and no parking signs 😅
  17. We've seen it with our tailgate for sure. People that all out disappeared for a year and are now calling asking for us to save them parking spots and if there will be extra tickets. Funny that you didn't hear from them when parking and tickets were easy to come by. Then again, we also noticed that they're the same people that always showed up after everything was setup, left before we broke everything down, never contributed food in any way, and always needed to "just grab a drink or two out of your cooler." Needless to say, they lost their parking spots 😂
  18. Gummies have gotten so strong that a random guy visiting our tailgate took half of one last year, disappeared for an hour, and I heard him in the air conditioned porta-potty holding on to the walls and swearing up and down that the whole trailer was moving. Not gonna lie, it was pretty funny walking in on that
