  1. A catch difference between the teams right now. Buckle up. Second half is about to be heated.
  2. Makes sense. South Carolina has nothing to offer him that isn't better at Auburn. If they want to break the bank for him, that's fine, go. But South Carolina's fanbase is mad and the boosters aren't too thrilled either, so good luck replenishing that account without them.
  3. I want to see us take care of business early and often. Don't play with your food and keep your head on straight. I would love the opportunity for Holden and Cobb to be in the backfield together. On defense, hold them to 10 or fewer and extend the turnover streak. Oddly enough I think sacks will be harder to come by this week, but QB pressures but be up. And for Thorne, keep slinging it! Another 70% completion game and 250 yards is nothing but confidence going in to the Iron Bowl.
  4. The hilarious idea of him being Arkansas's head coach next year when they come to Auburn has been floated around and I couldn't help but imagine the "what ifs".
  5. The Music City Bowl against Purdue was pretty great, and Nashville has some great food and hangout spots.
  6. I would LOVE to get the Music City Bowl again! Nashville right at New Years is GREAT!
  7. You took my prediction, so great minds and all
  8. The plays are fine. You're being dramatic. 90 yards of receptions have been dropped
  9. I could easily see it going this way as well. It'll take a few things we haven't seen so far this season, but I see it as more of a toss up than Vegas does.
  10. AU - 20 TAMU - 13 Our defense is best up, but I think they're capable of stuffing a few drives in the red zone to force the 2 field goals. Looking at our offense right now, they're improving, but I think we'll need a TD from at least 30 yards out to make this happen. That means I can see Auburn putting together 4 sustained drives, 2 ending in field goals and 2 in TDs. 4 sacks and 3 turnovers (2 FF) end up being the difference.
  11. There's a reason I have my money on him winning the Heisman this year.
  12. That's a good comparison. The back end of it also feels like the 2010 Mississippi State game to me. Where we were fortunate to win at all and can be used as a blueprint of what NOT to do on offense. Big difference being we don't have Cam Newton on this team. It was an ugly win and one we will move past, but a win nonetheless.
  13. I hate to start a new topic for this question, but does anyone have any suggestions on where or how to watch the Auburn game in Orlando this weekend? The late kick means a lot of places will be closed by the end of halftine. I'm leaving here Sunday to head back to Auburn but I haven't figured out where to watch from yet. Thank you in advance for any helpful advice!
  14. To ABW's point, I've used seatgeek for 3 games already this year. Just so you're not blindsided, there is a "ticket transfer fee" of like $14.00 per ticket or something like that, but it's reasonable if you find a decently priced ticket.
  15. If I remember correctly, a few months ago there was a massive change on the front end of NIL collectives making them non-charitable organizations. Now that the IRS has ruled that they do not qualify for tax exemption, how will that affect the athletes benefitting from those funds? Will it change from reported income from a charitable organization to independent contractor income? If so, things are about to get really weird really quick. The tax ruling happened in June of this year, so a lot could change for a lot of people. 2 months and no seasons is very much something "in its infancy" in a grand scope. Thankfully Auburn was way ahead on all of this and listed our NIL collective as non-charitable donations from the beginning.
  16. Especially when every player has to start filing a 1099 as an independent contractor. That's no fun.
  17. Every home game and Vandy. Having friends in Nashville makes it a fun/cheaper away game. Wouldve gone to Cal but decided on a week long vacation instead.
  18. The only people changing their picks seem to be Ole Miss insiders. The national narrative is pointing to Auburn. Auburn beat writers are saying Auburn. There are a few Miami people saying Miami, but they've been doing that since 1987. I don't have any inside info on this one, but Ole Miss people being the ONLY picks for Ole Miss can be taken with a grain of salt.
  19. If South Carolina still had a chance, I'm pretty sure their fanbase reaction squashed it. That got ugly quick. Great to have him though!! Our defensive backfield did nothing but get better when he committed!
  20. Outside of the 2003 nightmare that was pur offense and coordinator situation, Jason Campbell was improving yearly. Something in the Borgess offense put him on a rocket ship and it was something special. I would have loved to have gotten a redemption shot at Georgia Tech that year.
  21. Best comment I've seen is "I don't usually take advice from someone with a refrigerator in their living room." 😂😂
  22. I'm not convinced it's over no matter what he chooses. I believe it was Zac Blackerby in an interview with Walker White that said KJ plans to OV Auburn for the Georgia game. PLEASE let that be the 8:15 kickoff!
