This is one recruiting battle bama needs bad to save some face. I doubt there is anything they wouldn't do to land him. Pretty sure he would be happy with whatever offer they gave that QB who just portaled out of there.

It's a good hire. Fan base will be happy.......for now. Now we just have to hope that he brings his staff with him. There will be a few for sure.

As much as I want a guy that is good with X's and O's.....We need the Jimmy's and Joe's first. No one here is arguing we do not have a talent gap with our biggest rivals. Good (as opposed to great) coaching and bringing in the guys who are difference makers, IMO, is going to make this team better than anyone could have made us this past season.

Offense is really hard to watch. The level of ineptitude passing the ball is just simply mind blowing at this point. I feel bad for our defense.....

I'm sure some rivalries will remain, but I see it becoming something of the AFC vs NFC (SEC v B10). There will be a core group you play against and then some rotating teams. The conference will not really matter anymore. Literally, it will look like the NFL - playoffs and all. Not necessarily a bad thing but those of us who enjoy chanting S-E-C will just have to tell stories to our grandkids about "back in our day". I highly doubt Bama or UGA are not on our schedule.

Our defense was on the field for nearly every point scored last week. I think we get another fluky call that goes our way at home and muster 10 points on offense. I'm hopeful we make it a game and not an embarrassment. 10-27 them

FWIW - most of the fans I have talked to (and most of them are "reasonable") they are blaming the game on the QB and Proctor. I did not hear one of them talk about the defense.

I've been using HULU live and get most of what I want. For a couple of the off-games, I had to sign up for trials on other networks like CBS/Fox apps. Since my wife and I decided to cut Disney I will most likely try YouTube TV this year. I have heard good things and it is a little cheaper.

My office is about 3-4 mins from this one. I limit myself to one stop per month inside the store through sheer willpower. Now, I get gas there all the time. I have only had to wait 1 time for a pump since it opened.

Democrat gun bill not anti-2nd Amendment, it's pro-school safety - Yellowhammer News I am a HUGE fan of this bill and really pray it passes. This is a great first step for all of us who consider ourselves "responsible". Honestly, this is one of two things I have wanted to see passed. The other is a bill requiring basic training/safety for first-time gun buyers (yes, even as a pro 2A guy). I know there is not a lot that will ever get the regulars here on the same page, but maybe this? Call whoever you have to and ask/beg/plead for this to happen. This is more than school safety as it would have much further reaching effects (IMO) with accidents, suicides, and violence outside of school.

Well, my post was kind of tongue-in-cheek spilling it. We walked past a new Escalade with GA tag walking over to the part of the facility where I met him. My facility escort pointed the car out to me. Shortly after the announcement, Mr. Pickens quit his job. Maybe I am just making assumptions 🤷‍♂️

I'm not a big basketball fan and this is the first game I have watched. It was pretty easy for a guy like me to tell this team just does not have talented shooters. The end of the game spoke volumes when we were something like 0-10 shooting. As much as we complain about the refs it feels like they kept us in this one.
