  1. Thomas gossum. He made big plays, ran routes well and had good hands. He is really overlooked because his 3 years on the plains we ran the ball 85% to 90% of the time. Mike Currier he is not the most talented guy but he gave Auburn all he had in every game he played.
  2. Not true while Walsh with the WC offense didn't invent the option routes he just about perfected it. Al Borges being the WC guy majority of his offense was the option routes. This part of teaching game should be relatively easy because the receivers should be seeing basic defenses, the real complex part will be put in during the first two weeks of summer when the defense should be implementing more complex schemes and then the last part should be put per opponent for game preparation based on game film and scouting report of the opponent.
  3. Well I sure hope you are right but Cohen assurance really doesn't make me rest easy. He is going to say that considering he hired him. Freeze has do nothing at Auburn that other coaches have not done. He has not won a game. I am saying we went sewer fishing and all we caught was a mediocre minnow.
  4. No I am not saying he is cheating. I am saying with his history he doesn't need to try to rub the NCAA nose in it. With him we are low hanging fruit and Ihe needs to be doing it better than anyone else yet he tries to provoke the NCAA.
  5. It is not absolute. The Supreme Court did not address the recruiting side NIL. In fact, the Supreme Court stated that it did not address the recruiting aspect. And the NCAA made specific rules in which addressed NIL. One was it made the NIL collective a booster of the school and that schools could not mention the NIL to recruits and he is already out there antongizing the NCAA.
  6. Second chance this is his 4th chance and he already began to show he hasn't change by wearing a shirt with Auburn's NIL logo to meet with a recruit.
  7. Well it is obvious that character, integrity, and ethics were not part of that list of 58.
  8. With the hiring of Freeze it seems to be of epidemic proportions at Auburn.
  9. He has not owned up if anything he has gotten worse. At Ole Miss when he knew what he was going he dared the NCAA to investigate and find infractions against him. Now you say he is proud to be at Auburn but he again tries to rub the NCAA nose in the ground by meeting a recruit wearing auburn NIL logo instead of keeping his head down and being passionate about Auburn. He is a narcissist and Narcissist care about know one but themselves and that also includes the school where he coaches.
  10. Is that all you got "Bama troll" attack the messenger because you sure can't discredit the message
  11. Well I like to know how a guy without ant ethics, stupid and just all around vulgar be a fit for the Auburn job unless the creed means absolutely nothing.
  12. That what you guys said about Harsin 2 years ago. He hasn't won 1 game at Auburn yet and the only way to get that done is something he is incapable doing and that is sound coaching. Talk amounts to nothing.
  13. Bob Harris and Quincey Big Hit Williams
  14. Thanks for info did not know that.
  15. Just curious why will he not be hired at Auburn.
  16. No, committed Academic fraud while at Ole Miss. And no it is not legal now to go out and buy recruits. The Supreme Court ruling only only applied to players already signed and on campus. The Supreme Court stated it was addressing only players that have signed and on campus. Furthermore after the court decision, the NCAA issued ruling that the NIL would be considered a booster of the school and that it is against the rules to even mention NIL to a recruit. So recruits like Arch Manning are signing contracts with independent 3 rd parties not associated with any schools. So to sum up academic fraud was not legal when Freeze committed and it is not legal now. Paying high school recruits is still against NCAA rules.
  17. Still does not answer my question that when he had the inside track to the West by beating Alabama he choked. Explain to me why choking those 2 years makes him a good candidate at Auburn.
  18. You are the ones spouting generic lines about Gus 2.0. For instance, gus while not completely shutting the door did a lot better job than Freeze. When Freeze beat alabama twice, ole miss had the inside track to the west and SEC but could not finish either year. Gus in 2013 did win the West and SEC but did not win the BCS. In 2017 Gus won the West but not the SEC. So Freeze isn't Gus 2.0 because Gus has more accomplishments than Freeze. For pete sake, for you people that want to hire a cheater at least go out an find one that can cheat us some BCS championship Freeze is so incompetent he couldn't even cheat Ole Miss to the West.
  19. Mike zimmer might be a possibility although he is around 66.
  20. While I think his game planning and playcalling are good I don't believe it is the caliber to beating a top quality team. For instance, in the Georgia game he didn't try to control the blitz by running receivers vacated by the blitzes, he didn't try to get his backs outside the box with screen passes. Against Florida, I thought if he ran TE clearing routes he could have been more successful. Defensively I think SC is pretty good. They may give up points and yards but they are fundamentally sounds. Most of the points and yards given up appear to be that they are lacking somewhat at the talent level.
