Unfortunately, I think MSU is going to struggle next year. Keeping the MSU family in my prayers. Arky is a team we should beat. They just don’t have the talent other SECW teams have. Hopefully after this one cycle we’ll be a slight step up from them and only a step or two away from the more talented teams. Aggies will have the talent, but they’ll still have Jimbo. If we bring in the talent we’re hoping to, and find a solid identity on O and D, this is one where I like our chances. We seem to play OM well even when we stink. Hopefully, we’ll be in a better place where we’re at least fairly confident going into this game. I think somewhere between 7-9 wins is our range for next year, depending on what we’re able to do with recruiting/portal. We’ll still be way behind bama and uga. And LSU is at least a year ahead of us. A&M will be more talented than us. OM will be able to score points. One thing is for sure 2023 and beyond looks a lot more promising than the last few years!!!!🙌🙌🙌

JMHO, but I would like to see about 5-6 FR OL coming in AND about 4-5 transfer OL coming in. We need guys ready to start immediately AND we need depth! We also need some transfer guys on defense ready to step in and start day 1, especially DL, Edge, and LB. Hoping for good news there soon. Overall, things are very exciting!!! Things are looking up now that we have a HC who is recruiting!!!

I agree. Robby is a ridiculous athlete with a strong arm. I would like to see what our O/QB staff can do with him and see if he can develop into a dynamic playmaker dual threat QB.

Just think…. Last year there were several very good QBs in the portal, and we lost Bo and got Calzone. This year we lose Calzone and might be picking up one of those 3! Things are definitely moving in the right direction!!!

True! I admit my O&B bias! But I just really liked Coach Freeze’s first meeting with the team better than “Y’all get to packing because I’m bringing my own luggage and it’s Louie.”

Overall, I like CHF’s staff. There’s some young and hungry guys mixed with some well experienced guys, including HC experience. Between HF, Austin and Montgomery we should find excellent prospects at QB and develop them very well! I like that he has some guys he’s known and coached with a good bit as well as some solid AU guys! He’s got some ace recruiters and he’s got some good technical coaches. Well rounded and talented staff. I think we’ll see some good things from these guys!!!

It was a good test. They know what they need to work on. We’ll see how much improvement we can make between now and March.

I think we kinda had an idea about where we were with this team. Shooting is very inconsistent. Broome is inconsistent. Traore and Westry are really young and still have a ways to go. And we just don’t play as well away from Auburn Arena in general. So, although I was somewhat disappointed, I certainly wasn’t surprised.

Great question!!! Robby is a possibility. It depends on how quickly he develops and who else we may get from the portal. At RB Hunter will be RB1. We may add some depth here At WR I think we’ve got a few guys who will be featured in this offense! Kam Brown is obviously one. Landen King as well either at WR or TE. I think that maybe, finally Frazier will show us some of that potential! At OL, obviously we need a total overhaul, but I like Wright! He has a ton of potential. And maybe, depending on who we get in the portal, Zierer could be a serviceable starter. That’s it. About 5 or 6 guys IMHO.

I don’t remember what year it was, but I’m thinking it’s when CPM was at Baylor, I was watching a game where Baylor was down to their 4th string QB due to injuries (this guy was a WR), and I was impressed with how prepared he was! And they were still going lightning fast (like 6 seconds from whistle to snap!!!!). So yeah, I can get behind this dude as OC and QB coach!!!
