Yeah, early in the season, when TJ was starting, I noticed that he dissed his offensive line in a public interview, and also claimed that his interceptions were due to "great defensive back play". In other words, he lacks both loyalty and accountability.

Finley is not the type of QB that would flourish in a Hugh Freeze offense. Finley does not have the talent to play QB in the SEC. He has proven that at two different SEC schools (LSU, AU). Finley does have the talent to play QB at a lower school, and I hope for his sake and ours, he pursues that. He deserves the chance to play there, and we deserve the open scholarship to give to a true D1 QB. Sometimes, it's better for a player and fans to part ways. This is one of those times. Goodbye TJ, and good luck to you. I know your stay wasn't pleasant here. It wasn't for us either.

Very little chance, I think, with the same out-of-control guards we had last year, when we flamed out at the end of the season. Otherwise, with two future NBA stars. There's good reason why ESPN analysts dissed Green and KD last year. Very good reason. At the D1 level, they are sub-par.

But when playing to their upside together, isn't their height (or lack thereof) and happy-to-shoot mentality too much for us to overcome? Shouldn't they be feeding the ball to Johni more?

I respect your post an opinions, but I think some significant things have happened. - Our new HC has had successful SEC HC experience - Our new coaching staff is excellent thus far - We are trending upward in portal and recruiting results There is reason to be excited over AU football, more than since Gus was hired.

If we are torn between Kodi and Heard, are we aiming high enough? Just curious, because I think we are now a #1 destination for receivers, of all kinds. That's the continued legacy Hugh Freeze has brought us. UA and UGA should have their eyes opened. We are on a plan to overtake them. In time.

Sure hope so. Heard seems like a great coach that would turn the heads of top recruits toward AU.
