* Both teams have faced 4 opponents that have currently registered at least 7 wins on the season and they happen to be common opponents. This includes Arkansas, South Carolina, LSU and Mississippi State. Alabama went 2-2 in those 4 games and Auburn was 4-0. Alabama’s average score was 24-22 in those 4 games and Auburn’s average score was 35-25.

* In those 4 games, Alabama’s offense scored 20.8 percent above what the opponent normally allowed in scoring. Alabama’s defense held their opponent to 27.0 percent below their scoring average. Auburn’s offense scored 46.1 percent above what the opponent allowed and held the opponent to 17.2 percent below their scoring average.

* If you were to take Alabama’s average score in those 4 games vs. Auburn’s scoring margins it would project an Auburn victory of 32-20. If you were to take Auburn’s average score in those 4 games against Alabama’s scoring margins it would project an Alabama victory of 30-26. Average the two scores and Auburn wins, 29-25.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but Alabama's score in those games are wrong and I'm assuming the rest of the numbers are too...

I entered Bama's score against MSU as 10 rather than 30.

They aren't giving up 27 either, I think you put 30 as what they gave up to MSU not 10.  They should be giving up 22.25 per game. 

ADD:  Sorry for nitpicking I just want to see the actual numbers.
