I just heard from a friend in the Gulf Shores area that the Flora-Bama is completely gone.

The gulf shores strip is under water. Water is about 2-3 feet from the traffic lights, thats HIGH!

We just had power restored here in Montgomery, and me and everyone I know are ok!

I hope that everyone else is and I will be praying for those cleaning up!

Considering where it made landfall, I would have been very surprised if the Pink Pony had completely weathered the storm intact.

Flora-Bama isn't COMPLETELY gone, but very badly damaged. Don't worry though, as soon as they get a few tarps strung up it'll be as good as new.

I saw pictures of the Flora-Bama. It's still there but the entire place is full of sand. I'd image the Pink Pony is the same way...

I don't even recognize it. Of course this is the first time I've seen it with a legal BAC.

I think I resembeled that picture the day after the last time I was there.
