Online sites are reporting that Patrick Trahan a Safety/LB from St. Augustine in New Orleans has pledged to play at Auburn.

Yeah, he's pretty good. 3 star guy...top 50 in the nation at his position.

Patrick Trahan - a 3* (Rivals) Safety from Louisiana verbally committed to auburn this morning.

He is the #20 rated player in the state of LA. To be fair - LSU has not offered him, he grew up chearing for them, and he had said all along he would strongly consider if they did. However, he also indicated that the game atmosphere changed that and he was "standing up and cheering for Auburn by the end of the game"

I don't think safety is a huge priority for LSU this year - so they are being pretty selective.

Regardless - we got ourselves a GREAT player.
