rebdawg 5
Just two weeks ago we were talking about how McClover has not lived up to the hype. I do not know if anyone has checked but he is tied with Pollock for the lead in sacks and leads the league in fumbles caused. I think he is getting the grasp of the game. My condolances to the QB's of the world. beat
AUTaxMan 0
The man is a beast. Like almost all of our players, he is getting better each week.

AUesquire 1
McClubber Lang. What's my prediction for the Kentucky game? Pain. I'll tell you someone else who comes off the end as fast as I've seen in a long time is Q. Groves. He's getting more and more playing time and he's a wild man. mcgufcm 4,107
i think q looks brilliant out there. he looked great at middle linebacker too. some guys are just players, and he seems like a guy that's going to be a factor regardless of where you line him up. he's gonna be great as he gets experience and added size. the predator is starting to play like he was supposed to. i like him coming of the bench right now, but he's making sure that we have a lot to look forward to in the coming years. the encouraging thing to me is that he's starting to play with more discipline. that will make him a lot stronger against the run and more well-rounded player. CShine 0
He still needs to get better defending the run. So far he's only been good as a pass-rushing specialist. That's why Langenfeld was able to take the starting job away from him.
AUesquire 1
I remember the call-in show after the La. Monroe game and Tubby saying McClover plays to high and better competition will chop him down like a tree. He is getting some serious experience and hopefully getting better each week. With all the rotating Chiz does with the defense as a whole, I'm excited about the future. We do graduate a lot with Ratliff, Eddins, Langenfeld, Rogers, Rosegreen (I think that's all) but guys like Q and McClover and Gunn are superstars of the future. mcgufcm 4,107
good to hear a guy with this much hype openly say that coming off the bench is good for him. i like langenfeld and eddins early b/c they set a tone against the run. both guys are better as run stopping ends than pass rushers so they help us stop the run early, and we can unleash the young guys later after a team is forced to pass. TrueBlue72 0
I noticed those stats where he is tied for the lead in sacks and in fumbles caused. The really amazing thing is that he is part of a six man rotation at DE, meaning he is only playing half the time, at most.
