Former & current Mississippi State player arrested

Former Mississippi State offensive tackle Charles Siddoway was arrested with current Mississippi State DLJordan Washington Wednesday afternoon on burglary and robbery charges.

Siddoway started every game at tackle last season while Washington was a redshirt freshman in 2013. Washington has been indefinitely suspended from the team.

“We are aware of the situation. Jordan Washington has been suspended indefinitely from our team pending further investigation,” Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen said in a statement.

Lt. Brett Watson of the Oktibbeha County Sheriff's Departmentsaid the alleged incident was Wednesday afternoon at an off-campus apartment complex. Siddoway was identified first by one of the alleged victims and Washington was subsequently arrested after a short investigation. The department declined to reveal any other details of the incident to the Starkville Daily News.

According to the AP, the two appeared in court Thursday morning and bond was set at $20,000.

Siddoway was a two-year starter after he transferred from Butte College after the 2011 season. Before the arrest he was expected to be a late-round pick in the NFL draft. Washington was a three-star recruit out of high school in Georgia.
