telling tiger 156
Yep. Pretty cool stuff. The slight of eye, so to speak, is pretty amazing. Think of how little we actually see in a set and what our imagination makes of it. People imagine entire neighborhoods and exterior shorts may not even be involved. Interesting art and sciences. Texan4Auburn 1,626
Crazy that they use to do everything right there in that small space. While in Chicago you would see on TV, or the papers, or hear on the radio of area closings because they were filming something on a regular basis. Be it a movie or some of the TV shows. quietfan 233
The band stand in the right-hand set was the first give away for me, which the living room and bedroom confirmed. Lucille Ball and/or Desi Arnez are usually credited as the creators of the the three-camera, live studio audience format that is still used for the vast majority of sitcoms today. Seinfeld, Friends, and The Big Bang Theory are three extremely popular more recent examples of shows filmed in that way.
