If we're going to have a playoff then let's have a complete one with all the power 5 champions and 3 at-large teams. Make the Commitee's primary job to determine the 3 best at-large teams & seed them all 1-8. Period. That's the fairest & simplest way to do it. Clearly (this year,) both TCU & Baylor got equally hosed simply because of the number 4.

I think if the Big 12 was really a Big 12, and not a Big 10, unlike the Big 10, which is really a Big 12, and the Big 12 had a championship game, their champion would likely have leaped OSU.

I forgot what this thread is all about. The wheels started coming off of OM when Arkansas hammered them. Their win over MSU was a win over a team that dazzled us with smoke and windows. Not mirrors, in that they would have zero effect. A shallow mind for a deep subject!
