DT QB seems a sort'a newfangled (post '11?) term.

There may be some here older than me (teehee), but we used to call them

"scrambling" QBs

(Mssrs. Tarkenton, Manning the Elder, Staubach, etc.,come to mind).

I was at the Ole Miss-bama game at Legion Field in 1969 and I never will forget the performance Archive Manning put on, albest, in a losing effort.
