we all know that as soon as the politicians start getting paid, the wait will be over..  Colorado's state govt is not about to give up that weed tax money.. Right now the only ones profiting from weed in illegal states, are these two bit crooked municipalities.. No reason for these crooks to give up their easy thefts.. Only way to stop their scam is legalization.

not enough weed lobbyists paying these P O S's to get it through, the whole thing (senate/congress)is a pay to play scam, these people need to be cycled out with term limits..

Just read an article that showed that 2 American Corps, ADM? and another were moving to take over Big Marijuana.

Folks, trust me on this. I LOOKED AND LOOKED for the article, even went thru browser history. If I find it I will link to it. There are literally hundreds of articles out there on this but this article was in Forbes or some business mag and was printed in the last week. As soon as Big Marijuana forms up...Look out the lobby money will flow and it will be a done deal.

the key is, will it be real legalization or just laws to enrich the select firms lobbying?

Without campaign financing reform, term limits would just make it worse.

How is that any worse than having a succession of new politicians coming in with even more urgency to cash in?  We need to change campaign financing laws, not restrict the ability of voters to maintain a representative who is doing a good job.
