President Biden twice implied Wednesday that his uncle Ambrose Finnegan was eaten by cannibals in New Guinea after his plane went down during World War II — even though military records show that the aircraft disappeared over the Pacific.

The Pentagon’s Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency says that Finnegan’s plane actually was lost over the open ocean.

“For unknown reasons, this plane was forced to ditch in the ocean off the north coast of New Guinea. Both engines failed at low altitude, and the aircraft’s nose hit the water hard,” the military’s account says.

“Three men failed to emerge from the sinking wreck and were lost in the crash. One crew member survived and was rescued by a passing barge. An aerial search the next day found no trace of the missing aircraft or the lost crew members.”

Please.  He said his uncle was shot down over New Guinea and there were a lot of cannibals there at the time and they never found his body.  Why would he even mention cannibals if he didn’t think his audience would surmise his uncle was eaten?

Again 1) imo he embellished  2) there’s no doubt he’s not close to a 100%. I’m not defending the guy but when you called him a “sorry sob” I didn’t get the rage-fest. The border I do get.

No he wasn’t, the plane he was a passenger on lost both engines at a low level and ditched into the ocean.  One person survived the crash and a subsequent search found no survivors.

Your second paragraph is valid. Ultimately, maga will vote Trump, libs Biden and the moderate independents generally in the suburban cities, will have to soul search between the lesser of 2 train wrecks.

Again, I agree with you on a several issues - but after 1/6 and then trump saying those convicted are POWs (an insult to military sacrifice) and he’ll actually  pardon them….  It’s raw insanity and a lack of integrity beyond policy.  It’s 3rd world stuff. When the time comes. I think most moderates will agree with me. We’ll see.

The SCOTUS is deciding if the charges the DOJ has charged a lot of J6ers were overcharged.  We shall see.
