In my dream, I rubbed the back of my neck and felt a bump back there that I had never felt before. After investigating, I found that it was a fully formed NIPPLE. Naturally, I was shocked, because never before in my 41 years (today's my bday, btw) had I noticed this nipple. Interestingly enough, it didn't bother me that much. Upon waking and getting started this morning, I started psychoanalyzing my dream and have come to the conclusion that the time for calling the Nip is drawing nigh. After having days in the 100s this past week, yesterday was only in the 80s. Up here in NC, we're driving hard toward the nip....and i cannot believe it will be too long before WarTim graces us w/ his fully formed 'nip'. we can only wait everso impatiently until that day arrives. ct Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is still pushing 90 degrees in the State. The record for the "Calling of the Nip" is Aug. 15th. (Set this past season.) Maybe, just for the sake of "luck", I should call it again on the 15th? I ran into Jaydubb @ the local convenience store last night. He too is eagerly awaiting the Nip. We will get there. It just haven't seen ANY signs ..........yet. p.s. CarolinaTiger 0 Posted August 2, 2005 Author Share Posted August 2, 2005 sorry wartim...you only manifested yourself in the dream as a nipple. it was 69 degrees here in NC when i stepped out of the house. nip-weather if ever there were. unfortunately, i live in the north, where they know nothing about nips. tim, call the nip when it's the nip's time to be called...not a second before or after....don't cave in to us nip-caller-wannabes.... Betcha Raf Palmiero might have some samples he would sell you cheap. Gang, it is just SO not cool to try and tease us poor Houston people with talk of nip when our heat index was over a hundred again yesterday. Our first game is one month from tomorrow EXACTLY. I realize that we in Houston wear sandals to do our Christmas shopping, and must therefore experience "vicarious" nip, but for the love of Pete, please wait until closer in!! But to be clear, down here in LA, I am seeing precursors to the "nip". Pecans on trees, and some varieties of trees starting to shed leaves....... Hurry nip!!!
