Chris Leak to be on SI Cover

GAINESVILLE -- Apparently, Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen has never heard of the Sports Illustrated jinx.

When SI hit newsstands this week, Chris Leak graced the cover as an "unstoppable player," and Mullen was nothing but excited about it.

"I haven't got it yet," Mullen said. "I need to get the real magazine ... so I can have him sign it for me and put it on my wall of fame of people that I've actually met in my life that are famous."

The Madden Jinx is already catching up to Donovan and the Eagles, so we'll wait and see if the Gators fall apart.

Anyone ever notice that the SI jinx didn't work for people like MJ, Lance, Bird, Leinart, and the list goes on and on?

The SI jinx is a myth.

Leak and Florida are overrated and will fail this year, but not because of some jinx.

I just got my SI today and Vince Young was on the cover.

I guess the West Coast gets Reggie Bush, Midwest gets Young, and East coast gets Leak
