My “go to” folks are saying 8:25 CST first pitch. Disappointing, Iowa supposed to be throwing a SEC type ace originally. To old and tired from a busy day for a late night……you will understand one day.

Auburn wins 7-5. Nice early season victory over a ranked Iowa team.

Hall isn't Small.

Looks like a home run hitter.

Hope Allsup can get straight as a Friday starter. Not good to come out on and get “behind the eight ball” early in a series. Understand he had a great preseason and no doubt he is talented.

Alsup very nearly turned a messy first  into a disaster but was able to get through it only giving up 1 run. Maybe that’s going to be his MO, but he is going to have to last more than two or three innings if he’s going to be the Friday night guy once conference play starts, as you pointed out.

Great win last night! I hate that Cannon gave up a 2-run blast with two outs and two strikes in the 9th inning, but I’d rather him do that with a 4-run lead than a close SEC game.

Great win last night. Very disappointing that we’re not able to watch on. I wonder how that happened?

Hoping we have a deeper bullpen this year and can put a couple more competent arms out there this year.  Tilly seems solid for a young guy

FWIW, the auburntigers youtube page has a live stream with the auburn radio call.  The camera is on our radio guys - not the game - but I like listening that way and then following the stats on my phone.

Wichita state sends the same freshman back out after 38 1st inning pitches.

yet another full count walk.  5 full counts in 10 batters.

they may be sacrificing this poor kid for the sake of a 3 game weekend.

Irish weak grounder to third force out at second

pierce hits 2 run first pitch homer

7-0
