I know the boys rebounded from a slow start/tough schedule last year, but I just get the feeling this could be a rebuilding year. Would love Power and the more baseball-informed on the board to talk me off the mini-ledge though; after all, it is a road series against number 9. But, after watching the top tier teams this weekend: our pitching staff is not upper SEC level. Significantly lacking in velo, movement, and ability to locate. Seems like every team in the west but us has multiple lefty’s throwing 95 + with great movement, and we’re countering with righties throwing 90. Our one flamethrower has a flat fastball.
