Can you believe some bammers are actually seriously discussing if they could get Norm Chow for offensive coordinator? [According to them, he's unhappy in the NFL].

1) Even if he wants back in college football, it will be for a head coaching job, not another OC position...if he were satisfied with OC, he'd have stayed at USC.

2) It's going to be hard to get any top OC to agree to coach at Bama as long as Shula insists on really running the offense.

3) Bama had trouble getting decent applicants to take the HEAD coaching job. Why in hell would a top guy like Chow want to go there as an assistant?
