crashman009 4
I wasn't sure if we have ever done this or not. 80Tiger 899
Not a bad list. I would submit Ed West as one of the tight ends. I would give consideration to Steve Wallace at a tackle and Joe Cribbs as one of the backs. I would also give a guy named Forrest Blue at center. Big dominating type center in late 60's with pretty fair pro career in to the 70's.
WarTiger 3,907
I'd put Tyrone Goodson or Willie Goshea(sp) off the 1993 team at one WR spot.... other than that, looks pretty good..

Ronin 2
I think I'd have to put Fred Baxter ahead of Cooper Wallace at Tight End. That was the only one tht jumped out at me. I'll have to think about the rest a little bit more.
Nay4AU 2
I think I'd have to put Fred Baxter ahead of Cooper Wallace at Tight End. That was the only one tht jumped out at me. I'll have to think about the rest a little bit more. 226538[/snapback] That was one that really jumped out to me as well. It’s really hard to come up with an all-time list. With Auburn known as running back U, naturally for me the hardest position to narrow down is running back. There are so many factors involved. You have to factor in attempts, yardage, average and TDs. The receivers are also hard to narrow down. There are many factors involved here as well such as catches, yards, average, and TDs. I decided to go with only two QBs. I went with Sullivan and Campbell based on their years as starters. I would have included S. White to the list but his 40 TD passes to 52 Ints kept him off the list for me. Others with consideration were D. Craig, P. Nix, R. Slack, J. Burger, and B. Leard. I also think you have to consider the QBs from before the modern passing era such as J. Sidle (the first QB to lead the nation in rushing) and T. Tidwell. I guess you can apply the same logic of the modern day passing era to the recievers such as J. Pyburn, J. Phillips, and F. Hyatte. QB-Pat Sullivan Jason Campbell RB- Bo Jackson Carnell Williams RB2- Joe Cribbs/James Brooks Ronnie Brown/Brent Fullwood/Stephen Davis FB-Tucker Frederickson Tommie Agee SE- Terry Beasley Freddy Weygand WR- Frank Sanders Tyrone Goodson WR- Karsten Bailey WR- Lawyer Tillman TE-Walter Reeves Fred Baxter OT- Marcus McNeil Frank D’Agostino/Willie Anderson OG- Zeke Smith Victor Riley C- Ben Tamburello Jackie Burkett Walter Gilbert OG- Ed King Stacy Searels OT- Ken Rice Wayne Gandy /Keith Ueker

crashman009 4
for LB I would put Greg Carr in there and have Buddy McClinton as DB Ill post my defense in a little bit
80Tiger 899
I do agree with Greg Carr for LB. I also think you could make a arguement for Mike Kolen and Ken Bernich. Very tough group to pick from. I believe you have to include Larry Willingham for safety.
Ronin 2
I'm not sure what his stats were like but I used to LOVE to watch Fred Smith play DB. Hmm...Both players I've mentioned in this thread are named Fred. Wierd.
