Bubba, a Tuscaloosa native and long-time Alabama student went to Nashville for the summer and became very ill after only a few weeks.

He went to doctor after doctor, but none of them could help him.

Finally, he went to a doctor who was also an Alabama graduate who told him to do the following:

"Take this bucket, go into the room at the end of the hall, do a number two in the bucket, next do a number one in the bucket, and then get down on your knees and while placing your head over the bucket put this towel over your head and inhale deeply for ten to fifteen minutes."

Bubba did as the doctor had instructed. After about 25 minutes, whistling "Yea Alabama" while walking back down the hall to the doctor's office, Bubba said to the doctor, "It worked. I feel terrific! What was wrong with me?"

The doctor said, "You were homesick!"
