Bump!

Voted for Brock, but I'm willing to bet Manningham from Michigan gets it. You catch 4 passes and 3 of them are touchdowns against Notre Dame, you are going to get a lot of love.

FTP: "Mike Klinkenborg— The Iowa linebacker, just six days removed from the death of his father, made eight tackles in the Hawkeyes' come-from-behind 27-17 win over rival Iowa State."

They interviewed him on ESPN after the game and he was obviously in tears, Losing a parent young sucks, My prayers to his family.

It is not a fan poll only vote. The fans part only counts for 1/3 of the award. The two sports writers picked Manningham. :puke:

Each week during the season, readers can select their pick for USA TODAY's Player of the Week. Choices will be made available on Sunday night. The fan vote, open through noon ET on Tuesday, will comprise one-third of the award with one vote also going to college football editor Erick Smith and Gannett columnist Mike Lopresti. USA TODAY will name its winner Tuesday.

Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham caught three touchdown passes against No. 3 Notre Dame to earn this week's USA TODAY's Player of the Week honor. The sophomore finished with four catches for 136 yards as the No. 13 Wolverines shocked the Irish 47-21 in South Bend. Manningham won the award with the votes of Gannett News Service columnist Mike Lopresti and college football editor Erick Smith. Fan voting sided with Auburn defensive back Eric Brock.

Basicly, its just there to say we let you vote on it. The sportswriters can pick who they want and overrule the voters. <_<
