Auburn To Be A NFL Expansion Team?

We had to chuckle yesterday when one of our NFL sources told us that the quality of players at Auburn the last several years has caused several NFL personnel peeps to remark that "Auburn could play a NFL schedule right now and wind 3 or 4 games."

The reason for the team's success? -- the offensive line, which averages 320 lbs. amongst its starters.

So should the Tigers start to prepare for their BCS championship party? Probably not. With upcoming games non-conference games against Buffalo (ranked 117 out of 119 in the CBS Sportsline Poll), Tulane (109 out of 119) and Arkansas State (117 out of 119), Auburn will not be invited to the championship game.

I am surprised their source didn't tell them that 2 of the AU players are secretly women and 2 others are being paid 100k per game and the 5th is actually TT's twin playing in a suit.
