Tigermike 3,055
The political class ( Ror D) in America has little or no intention of even trying to do anything about this. For the politician who makes his or her policy decisions on poll numbers, 71% + want something done about the illegal problem. But very very few in either party really care. See, Mike, we've already found some common ground. Republicans love illegals thanks to the cheap labor they provide businesses. Democrats love illegals because of their tendencies to vote for them come election day. Until Congress is majority Independent, nothing substantial will ever be accomplished on the issue. There are too many interests for the two major parties to get involved.

bigsixfive 328
How does and illegal vote? They can in CT now because a local government thought they could overrule Federal laws.
