That makes no sense. Why spare your starting MLB (the only LB with college reps), and your starting senior WR as "sacrificial lambs"...and not suspend your 3rd string defensive lineman Deaderick?

Usually suspended "sacrificial lambs" aren't two of your best players.

Starting? Third string? How many times does Sa-vior have to tell you that there is no depth chart?

Perhaps this was a good excuse to shake up the perceived depth chart and save face simultaneously.

They are "sacrificial lambs" because they were not going to play anyway, more than likely. AND, because it is Western Carolina, so the suspensions are not going to matter anyway. The bottom line is the Good Ole Boy system pressured Saban into this.

Saban is WEAK.

So we should expect Deaderick to get more playing time this year than Brown?

Ummm uhh..... You DO know BG, that the premise of this thread is to be an example on the up and down, inconsistent rule of discipline at Bama under Satan, err uh, Saban...right?

You just keep talking about playing time between individual players and keep the "under the radar" approach going though..... Makes a lot of sense. Just shows what an ignorant, and arrogant debater that you usually are.

Don't want to offend though...no hurt feelings please... Just my opinion..

When it comes to discipline at Tuscalooser Saban = Shula. Nothing has changed at UAT.

Honestly, I hate to see this lack of control over the players and their actions. It does the kids no service and ruins the reputation or perception of the University. It also does not look good for the state or the SEC. I really wish someone would wake up over there and realize this. That is the bottom line in this debate.
