WAR-MATT 2
This is what we've been trying to explain to the bama fans for 8 pages. Saban practices plausible deniability......
AUdaREALsecTigers 2
Saban seems to have genuine concern for his players and supreme confidence that he can save the ones who need saving. Genuine concern for his players??? Maybe he meant his players and not Shula's....or maybe JJ wasn't good enough to need saving...
CircleDrill 178
NCAA Bylaw 12.5.2.1 - A student-athlete may establish his or her own business, provided the student-athlete's name, photograph, appearance or athletics reputation are not used to promote the business. In addition, Bylaw 12.5.2.1 states, - After becoming a student-athlete, an individual shall not be eligible for participation in intercollegiate athletics if the individual: (a) Accepts any remuneration for or permits the use of his or her name or picture to advertise, recommend or promote directly the sale or use of a commercial product or service of any kind; or (b ) Receives remuneration for endorsing a commercial product or service through the individual's use of such product or service. EDIT: The site has been taken down, which lends credibility IMHO to the suggestion that it was legit. For those who did not get to see it, it was covered with images of him playing football among other things. EDIT: The people he got his dogs from http://www.mastinspitbulls.com posted this on their site The only affiliation Mastin's Pitbulls has with Jimmy Johns was his obtaining these 2 dogs from us. But JJ's myspace profile does not exactly agree with that statement. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea...iendID=56143462

It's much easier to say you did well by removing him before the fact than it is to remove him after it hits the fan and trying to justify that you are still in control. I think of all the bammers who said they aren't surprised that he got in trouble and I just have to wonder at what cost will they continue to support the current regime.
