That only one Auburn player was voted to the Top 18 in the SEC is an abomination. That Frankie Sullivan wasn't among the top 8 freshmen is almost as bad. :puke:

That is a complete JOKE. To put Barber behind Varnado, Patterson, AND Mitchell is one of the biggest slaps in the face I've ever seen a player receive. I hope UF wins, and I hope Vot posts another 15 and 15 game leading us to another win. Then I hope we get UT again, and Vot works them down low just like he did the last time.

Look I think we deserve more credit than we're getting, but I still think we have keep winning to deserve the Dance. But it is utterly ridiculous that the COACHES in the conference could slight the guy who is BY FAR the best low post player in the conference AND BY FAR the most singularly valuable player in the conference. Take Vot off our roster and we win 3 SEC games. Every other team has some other post presence. We start 4 other guards, and only bring two "bigs" off the bench. One of those guys is Brendan Knox. He'll be solid one day, but he's little relief for Vot right now.

Whatever. Just more motivation for these guys to keep kicking ass to prove how much respect they deserve.

Barber should have been selected over: Varnado, Mitchell, Patterson, and yes even Calathes. I would have put Meeks, Thornton, Downey, and Smith in before Vot. I wonder if a lot of the coaches thought of Barber's struggles at the free throw line when they considered him.
