BZ770 2 Posted November 1, 2009 Share Posted November 1, 2009 I've got to admit I do watch Talledega from Time to Time, That's the only race I usually watch other than Daytona. That being said if you've ever been to dega then you see lots of mullets sporting Bama Tshirts with Dale Hats. I think it's a good marketing strategy to schedule it Bama's off week. AU-Dave 7 Posted November 3, 2009 Share Posted November 3, 2009 As the local NASCAR fan I agree. I go to both races every year at DEGA and love it, which I eat, sleep, and breathe NASCAR. Mullet nation is always in full effect there and I tailgate using my Auburn tent. I always get lots of comments about it. You will find the same people at Talladega that you would on a gameday in Tuscaloosa. I try to ignore the obnoxious fans there but they buy majority of the tickets so I appreciate them for that.
