exactly. We never quit even after such a huge hole dug in the first inning friday night. To come back and make it a 4 run game was quite a lot of fight.We had the tying run in the on deck circle. We scored 27 runs over the weekend. That's pretty darn good. We gave up 25, but it was good enough to take 2 of 3. Great job by our baseball tigers. First series win for auburn at auburn over lsu since 1998, and the first SEC series loss for LSU since the 2008 season, if I remember correctly.

We have 18 more conference games left (6 series). UK, MSU and UT are all at home and those teams seem to be struggling right now. UT and MSU are 11th and 12th respectively in batting, 10th and 11th in Pitching with MSU 11th in fielding. (Auburn is dead last in fielding.) UK is 6th Batting, 6th Pitching, and 9th Fielding.

Ole Mrs., Arky and Vandy are all on the road and those teams are pretty good. After today Arky leads the West with Auburn and UM tied for 3rd. Vandy is the second best hitting team behind Auburn and leads the league in pitching. UM is 3rd in pitching and 2nd in fielding. Arky is 3rd in batting, 4th in pitching, and 10th in fielding. Oxford is a tough place to play and we end the season there.

Auburn's pitching is only better than LSU (9th), UT (10th), MSU (11th) and UGA (12th).

All that being said, and if nothing changes for us pitching wise, we should at least take 2 of three from UK, MSU, and UT. We could possibly take 2 of three from UM. If we drop 2 of 3 @Arky and @Vandy we will 17-14, probably the 3rd seed from the West and 5th or 6th seed overall at the SEC Tourney. Sweeping UT or MSU (very possible) would help greatly.
