No. 18 Baseball Heads To South Alabama Looking For Win No. 34

Auburn is 33-15 with eight games remaining

The No. 18 Auburn baseball team heads to Mobile on Tuesday to face in-state foe South Alabama at 5:30pm CT at Stanky Field. Auburn comes into the game 33-15 while South Alabama is 29-20.

Auburn won the first match-up of the season between the two, claiming a 6-2 win at Plainsman Park on April 7. Cory Luckie earned the win in that meeting while Michael Hurst had a save. The win was Auburn's third in what has turned into a 16-5 run for Auburn over the past 21 games.

So. RHP Dexter Price (3-0, 3.57 ERA) will get the starting nod for Auburn while South Alabama is scheduled to start So. LHP Brad Hook (0-0, 3.24).

The game was originally scheduled for a 6pm first pitch but was moved up 30 minutes by South Alabama due to other activities on its campus.

Tough loss get 3 runs in the top of 11th to give up 4 in the bottom of the frame. :thumbsdown:
