Tate Former Auburn baseball star (and part-time football star) Gabe Gross has decided to retire from professional baseball. We know this because our friend Jon Johnson of the Dothan Eagle (Gross’ hometown) got the exclusive interview. ... According to BaseballReference.com, Gross earned $3.4 million during his career, which doesn’t include signing bonuses.
