2010 recruit picks up offer

Tai-ler Jones a WR from Gainesville, Ga High School has received an offer from Auburn

Tai-ler is a 6 foot, 175 lb receiver that has offers from Ohio State, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, West Virginia, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia Tech. That is just a few of the BIG names that have offered him as of right now. He has set an unofficial visit to the Plains for March 7th.

Jones, is the teammate of 2009 Auburn signee Josh Jackson.

sometimes I wish they wouldnt bother with all of these early offers and commitments. I guess its all part of the game. he looks very good and I would love to see him on our side...

Anyone hear if they're still gonna vote on that early (December, I think) signing date?  They seem to be leaning in that direction...If so, it will make early committing even more crucial...

Depends on the recruit and who else is recruiting him...Having Furr enrolled, at the time, didn't help us keep Fortson from FSU...Having Bates committed didn't keep Phillips from FSU...Having Freeman, along with his home in Tallassee, helped us land Washington over Ole Miss...
