ausbest14 0 Posted March 17, 2009 Share Posted March 17, 2009 Trent Mummey continues to lead the nation in runs scored with 32, is 2nd in total bases with 64, tied for 7th in HR with 8, and is 9th in the nation in slugging %age, .928, and OPS (on base plus slugging %age), 1.469... Joseph Sanders is tied for 3rd in the nation with 9 HR; he is tied for 3rd in total bases with 61. Sadly, Brian Fletcher is 3rd in the nation with 26 strikeouts at the plate, and Kevin Patterson is tied for 10th with 22...Both help make up for those SO with very solid slugging %ages - .688 and .579, respectively.
