AUSportTalk 4 Posted April 28, 2009 Share Posted April 28, 2009 The Auburn baseball team will attempt to break a five-game losing streak on Tuesday when it plays host to Troy at 6pm CT at Plainsman Park. The game is the first of a home-and-home series between the two teams. Auburn will send Jr. RHP Taylor Thompson (2-3, 8.64 ERA) to the hill on Tuesday at home and Sr. RHP Paul Burnside (1-3, 6.69) to the mound on Wednesday at Riddle-Pace Field. Troy is expected to counter with Jr. RHP Tim Wheeler (2-3, 9.67) on Tuesday and Sr. LHP Steven Morelock (0-0, 12.00). All tickets to Tuesday’s game are two dollars.
