AUSportTalk 4
Under Armour All-American wide receiver Solomon Patton told affiliate Web site CrimsonConfidential.com that Florida is his current leader followed by Alabama, Southern Miss and Ole Miss. Patton mentioned that he'll consider the strength of his relationship with prospective coaching staffs and early playing time. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound prospect, who earned Class 6A All-State recognition last fall, is holding approximately 15 offers. I don't see Auburn as a player for Patton at this time. Jackson-Sullivan 0
From what I'm told (and I'm not trying to sound like an arrogant bammer that thinks if they didn't get a guy then it means they didn't want him), he just hasn't been a priority with our coaching staff of late for some reason. I believe they are focusing on the big, tall, physical recievers right now since we have so many already that fit Patton's mold.
WDE01 0
Good for them. I've said for awhile now, that we've got enough small receivers. Glad to hear that. I thought it might be the case.
