Hey SportsTalk, do you or anyone else know anything about what dramatic news has happened for Robert Cooper's summer plans?

Nevermind, I just seen on another site that since Reggie Taylor is going to JUCO, Robert Cooper has been offered a scholarship.

1.  How to play Linebacker, or

2.  How to receive a pass.

That is great news for Coop!  I really think he could possibly turn into our next Will Herring.

How many players do we have on scholarship? my numbers have to be wrong because I show we have 87 to 89. I'm hoping someone will post a list of each player who's on scholarship. Thank you.

Yeah, I'm pumped about RC too. I believe he has a lot of upside, and if he has the right attitude, could turn into a stud somewhere at AU.

Robert has the size to be a very good linebacker.

Cooper will not be a grayshirt since Reggie Taylor won't be eligible. He will be on scholarship this fall and is expected to work at Quarterback and possibly TE and LB.

QB huh? I don't realize he played QB in high school.

He looked to be a pretty good qb even though he only played one year.  Hard nosed kind of guy like Tebow.

Could he be a dark horse for QB?  The more options we got I have to believe our coaching staff can find the right guy.

I don't think there is anyway you can leave him out of the qb race.  If you watch his video you will see what I mean.  He threw the ball well and was a very hard nosed runner.

They are definitely going to give him a legitimate shot from all I'm hearing.
