HTML software

Does anyone know of any good, but free (or real cheap), web page developing software? I was attempting to create one with pure HTML in a txt file, but I don't have the patience or time to learn all of it right now.

I was on CNET, and TSW Webcoder and HTML Kit 1.0 got good reviews. Has anyone used those?

I'm not a web page designer, but I've done some simple web pages with Mozilla's Composer. Its as wysiwyg editor. If you download the entire Mozilla suite it should come with it.

Another option, but a bad one, is to use Microsoft Word and use the "save as html" option. It adds a lot of garbage though, I don't think anyone would truly recommend it.

I'm trying to stay away from the MS products. I actually used to have frontpage on my cpu but it disappeared. I hear they kind of re-write HTML to fit their own needs, causing some problems. I'd like to avoid that. Ill look into the Mozilla editor.

Its too late, I already downloaded it. You're right so far. The program has serious stability issues.
