Currently Tiger is tied for 74th out of 80. He's 13 stokes off the lead. This is a tourament he has won 7 times. He is in a really bad funk 49 now.

I hate to say it but I doubt Tiger will touch Nicklaus' record now.

It will totally depend if he can ever get his head straighten back on. Golf is 90% mental. We will know more in the next year or so. His still young so it can still happen for him. That's a BIG if for now.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how he bounces back and I don't think we can truly judge it until 2 years down the road from now. You are right golf, that's a huge IF and Tiger is absolutely not mentally tough right now. Hopefully he'll toughen up and get refocused on his game because I love watching the guy golf.
