I remember listening to that game on the radio...man, it seemed like the 4th qtr took about 2 hours. LOL

It probably wasn't too far from the truth, ot88...I distinctly remember thinking that we were in a world of hurt when Greg Amsler scored the TD to give the Vols a 26-9 lead.

Then Stan White started throwing...and throwing...and throwing...amazing composure for a redshirt freshman in a big game.

Yes, it was. It was also amazing how many passes he just floated out there in between two and three defenders, and still, no UT dbs came close to knowcking the ball away. It's like they were scared to touch the ball or something. LOL

Still, we had a chance in that game, even after you guys came back.

It was a tie, but it felt like a win. Remember Dye tipping his cap to the delerious AU fans as he left the field? Classic. I was watching it with 1 other AU fan and a room full of Bammers and the Tad faithful were ranting that the Tennessee players must have been bribed by AU alum, etc. Sweeeeeet.
