It's not all on Ellis. The fact is we suck on defense and have for a number of years. Dee Ford made our sorry defense look decent and made plays that sparked his teammates. We lack that play maker on defense and a pass rush. So when I asked before the season started who was going to replace Dee Ford this is the outcome that I expected, since no one has stepped up.

Sad part is besides Lawson I don't see quality lineman coming in. And the offensive line recruiting better improve, 3 stars aren't going to get it done in the trenches.
