I think you're seeing a Google Ad from the Forum Index page.

I actually do have avast installed, & it has a voice with it that says a threat has been detected..so it's not an ad.

It's probably just your virus scanner correctly flagging some of the banter from the Politically Speaking forums

lol.. I let windows do an update of like 12 programs(I have auto-update turned off) & afterwards the problem stopped.
