Great teams will have bad games. Respectful fans should realize that and cut them a break. Or, just go talk to the players you are criticizing and tell them what you think of their play tonight.

Let me try and understand this..... we are 22-2 and just lost in overtime to an extremely good team in a very hostile environment without our starting point guard and some of you(who probably lack the talent to even step on the court with this team) are bitching because we lost a game???? I get it that most of you probably haven’t been watching Auburn basketball for 60 years like I have but if you had you would understand what a fabulous team we have and you would be thrilled to be where we are right now. We will probably drop a few more on our way to the national championship but that’s just basketball. We have a monster team. Can’t believe any of you would criticize their play.

Just my opinion but the blame for that contract falls squarely on the shoulders of the university not Gus. Brilliant move on the part of Gus and his agent. I doubt that there are many of us on this board who wouldn’t love to have that deal. I don’t see it as extortion but rather as a sharp business move. Blame Auburn for that one.

I think we exceeded expectations. It gives me hope. Based on effort and results I give it an A.

Come on guys. I love Auburn football as much as anyone and have loved it for 65 years. But look around. Imagine the despair and devastation people are facing because of the damage caused by the tornadoes this weekend. So Bo is gone and Tank too I guess and we are at a low point with our football program. But worst case scenario we will still play SEC football next year. Will still be able to have great Saturday afternoons. We will build our team back. Others are facing much tougher problems right now and I know that all Auburn people are praying for them.

I watched and thought it did portray Auburn favorably, especially Coach Jordan.

Offensive play calling was horrendous. 4th quarter defensive play calling horrendous. Players played valiantly. Hats off to Bama but it was our game to lose........and we did. Still, our players gave a mighty effort.

Extremely proud of the players but the play calling and late game defensive strategy killed us IMO.

I understand that but truth is we have become a basketball school. B’ball team led by a very competent balls to the wall coach and the football team....well......

This is a TOTAL failure. It isn’t Just Bo. Play calling, both offensive and defensive, was off the charts stupid. Let’s don’t blame it on the refs. I put this squarely on the play callers. I know it is just a game but that one hurt. Hate it for the players.

He was a KA. He passed away a few months ago. We grew up together in LaGrange.
