  1. I'm sorry, but there's almost no way we're winning this game unless the defense forces multiple turnovers. This receiving corp can't get an inch of separation prior to Finley getting sacked or throwing the ball away.
  2. Because Bo transferred there and quite a few fans here want to see him do poorly after snubbing his nose at Auburn. Can't really blame tthem because that's a common human emotional trait. Bo looks great today, and I say that as someone that thought he was a bad quarterback.
  3. Can't even blame TJ for that one (mostly). That O-Lineman got straight SAUCED on that play lol. Penn State could probably get pressure with just sending 2 guys off the right side.
  4. Saying that this game means nothing is a bit facetious. If we get rocked at home against the 3rd or 4th best Big 10 team, that'll set a nasty tone for the rest of the year.
  5. So we're just gonna act like LSU, Bama and UGA haven't been the premier CFB programs since the last 2000's, huh? They're quite literally 3 of the top 10 programs in the nation in terms of prestige (and have been for a decade plus). Auburn has been quite noticeably below that tier in that time span, so...
  6. We'll win today...hopefully. Next two wins will be Mizzou and Western Kentucky. Those two are essentially guarantees imo. Could still get to 6 with dubs over Miss St. and Arky/TAMU.
  7. On the defensive side, I think it's inexperience in the secondary. Offensively, it's most definitely both, with the talent being incredibly lacking on the O-line.
  8. I personally would rather Robbie take the snaps the rest of this game because at least he can run the option effectively. If nit him, then try Geriner or Calzada.
  9. So not only does it look like we have the 2nd and 3rd best QBs in the Stadium today, but I might have somehow been too generous with 5-7 prediction...sens-damn-sational...
  10. Kinda funny that we're a top 25 program in the country and the bare minimum is commendable in regards to quarterback play.
  11. That was a poor throw and decision by Bo, and a great play by the DB. Still astounds me why people thought he was a serviceable QB.
  12. As long as we don't have to play LSU, Bama and UGA EVERRRY season, I'd be fine with whatever. Those have essentially been auto-losses for the past decade.
  13. There's a difference between possibility and probability. Quite literally ANYTHING in college football is possible, the likelihood of it actually occurring is a different story.
  14. You guys really need to slow down on the Holden hype. A true frosh completing routine throws in a literal scrimmage isn't enough to warrant throwing him into the SEC fire.
  15. There are plenty of examples of bad three-point shooters becoming good ones (LeBron, Jason Kidd, etc.) and a few examples of inaccurate QBs becoming accurate ones (Dak Prescott). Obviously, the latter is much more rare, but it IS possible.
  16. Was hoping that my hometown of Enterprise would get a shout-out.
  17. As a positive, I would add that he made Bo Nix look like a half-way serviceable QB in the middle of the season before his injury.
  18. I said it once and I'll say it again: we as Auburn fans should really pray that the Harsin hire doesn't end in calamity because with Brian Kelly in the SEC, we're pretty much guaranteed to run into 3 of the 5 best programs in the nation (with all 3 having 3 of the 5 best coaches as well) on a yearly basis. You could very well pencil-in those three games as losses, and that's not even accounting for the inclusion of Texas and Oklahoma into the conference in '25. We could be in for some ugly years.
  19. You're not wrong. I'm hoping that the O-line is at least mediocre next year.
  20. For the love of God, please don't let him go to UGA or LSU.
  21. I really hope that we hit on recruiting this year. With us having to play Bama, UGA and LSU every year with the two former being the best two programs in the nation, and the latter being practically guaranteed to get at least close to that level, we could be looking at some ugly years in the very near future. That's not even mentioning potentially having to play one of either Texas or Oklahoma on a yearly basis. Imagine the recruiting classes that they'd be able to bring in via NIL deals with their alumni and booster support AND the draw of playing in the best conference...
