Which coach(es) recruited Cam?

Besides Gene Chizik, which coach primarily recruited Cam? I seem to remember an article stating Thigpen or Luper went to see him play at Blinn, but I can't remember which coach it was.

I think it was Luper and Malzahn. I read somewhere that coach Malzahn had to talk coach Chizik into giving them the o.k. to offer Cam. They originally were going to look at a WR.

Can we say Markeith Ambles! We walked away from him because of reported "handler" issues, same as Seastrunk. What makes Cam different?

It was definitely Malzahn because I remember he essentially had to beg Chizik to offer Newton.  Remember - when Chizik got to Auburn we had about 10 QB's on staff.
