Believe me, I am as weary as anybody about "rumors" after what our fan base has been through the last month, but here is the initial tweet from Brett McMurphy, an AOL FanHouse writer located in Tampa. He sent out this tweet about 15 min ago: "Urban Meyer stepping down as Florida's coach, sources tell FanHouse. Press conference this evening to announce decision" Strange IF (let me emphasize IF) true, and it sucks. Malzahn would definitely take this job! I don't know, many coordinators don't do well in a HC position, Mullen has proven his ability to be a HC. I think the smarter move would be Mullen. Funny thing is I was listening to Rivals radio at lunch and someone called in asking if Florida would go after Chizik if Meyer was to leave since he was a Florida graduate. It may help pull some recruits away. I don't think they go after Malzahn. They will be after someone to straighten everything out right away and not some one to take a chance on.
