Softball takes out #3 Florida at the SECT

The Auburn softball team beat #2 seed and #3 in the nation Florida today, 6-2, at the SEC Tournament.  This is the first win over Florida in 14 tries and comes after Florida swept the season series convincingly at Jane B earlier this year.  The Gators have scored over 400 runs this year but managed only 2 runs today, with no home runs after 104 on the regular season. 

Over their last 7 games, the Tigers have taken 2 of 3 from then #4 Georgia, won 2 of 3 from then #18 Kentucky and won today vs. #3 Florida!

They take on #7 Tennessee Friday at 2:00 pm.  Earlier this year, Auburn lost a heart breaker to UT 2-1 in 10 innings and then came back and beat them 9-1 the next day!
