Coach Flo told her players at halftime they were an embarrassment to Auburn University the way they were playing and she was going to quit coaching them in the second half unless they snapped out of it. Auburn went on a 17-2 run to the start the second half and then hit clutch shots and free throws down the stretch.

One time after a loss at Ole Miss, men's coach Bob Davis made the players burn their uniforms in the parking lot because they had disgraced them. Then he got the OM coach to let him use the gym and they practiced until 4:00 AM. That was a long time ago, but i do think two or three wins followed.

I really like the fire of Coach Flo. We need that in other teams as well. It is great to see this team scratch out some wins. With the coaching change and players leaving, I don't think anyone expected much from them. I am so glad Coach Flo isn't viewing this season this way.
